Episode number 15 of the From the Finney podcast is out now and available on the majority of major streaming platforms.
This week, we were joined by former North End forward and co-host of the Undr the Cosh (without the e) podcast (YouTube & Twitter), Chris Brown, as we talked through the weekend’s defeat at the hands of a very dogged Rotherham United.
We also discussed Mark Crossley and his efforts, along with Jon Parkin, Dean Windass, Chris Kirkland, Steve Howey and Nigel Jemson, to raise £50,000 to support the NHS and mental health charities, through their charity, “Walking and Talking Charity Hikes”. Mark and his ‘W.A.T.C.H’ team are embarking on a mission to climb Mount Kilimanjaro with all the funds and proceeds that are raiser being donated to charity.
You can find out more about the “Walking is Brilliant” movement on their website here – walkingsbrilliant.com.
You can find them on Twitter here – @walkingsbrill and if you want to make a donation to this superb cause, you can donate on their JustGiving page here – justgiving.com/crowdfunding/watch-walkingsbrilliant.
After Browny left us, we answered a couple of listener questions answered about our post-lockdown form and about the role of Sean Maguire after he last started a game for us against Cardiff City and has had 11 minutes off the bench since then. This conversation also finishes up including Tom Barkhuizen who, since his red card against Stoke City, has had a limited amount of minutes.
Anyway, the episode is out now in all the usual places that you normally listen, or it’s available here on our website. Just visit our podcast page and filter by ‘weekly’ or click the play button below and voila.
