Episode number 9 of the From the Finney podcast is out now.
Not going to lie, we were all a bit flat for this one. We tried our best to stick to the facts though. No conjecture or knee-jerk reactions (I think anyway).
Obviously, we discussed the drab defeat to Cardiff City, Oli admits to being a bit of a “tactics nerd”, we discussed Alex Neil’s “love-in” with the 4-2-3-1 formation and our resident tactics nerd subsequently debunks it. Especially as far as this season is concerned, anyway.
We discussed the training ground and what a superb facility it is, (you can read more about our trip there here) and we also discussed why we thought the transfer window that’s just shut was probably a 5 out of 10, maybe a 6 at a push and of course, much, much more.
